The only nonprofit, mission-driven, locally governed healthcare system in Northeast Florida, Baptist Health invests significant resources to develop a community where: children are born healthy and grow up strong and safe; our neighbors in need have access to quality health care; the elderly live long, independent and fulfilling lives. We fund, support and/or manage numerous strategic initiatives throughout Northeast Florida that align with these priorities, and we measure their impact not only in terms of improving health but improving the overall quality of life in our community.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Florida
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Florida (BBBSNEFL) is a mentoring organization that creates and supports one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth between the ages of 5-18. Working within communities across the nation for over a century, Big Brothers Big Sisters is the nation’s oldest and largest mentoring organization beginning in 1904. BBBSNEFL has effectively inspired change in the lives of thousands through impactful mentoring programs and meaningful relationships that defend and ignite today’s youth to reach their full potential. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Florida serves Duval, Clay, Nassau, Flagler, Union, Volusia, Baker and Putnam counties.

Eckerd Connects
Eckerd Connects – Suite LL10 Eckerd Connects Workforce Development is working hard to keep America’s workforce educated and engaged. Through a strong network of community services, eligible participants are taught the skills needed to further their education or obtain jobs in today’s competitive labor market. Our youth and adult programs serve would-be workers ages 16-24 and align with the Workforce Innovation and opportunity Act (WIOA).

Family Foundations offers tools, skills, support and solutions for families and individuals to benefit by translating financial knowledge into better financial behaviors. Our community benefits from the thousands of families who become financially stable because of Family Foundations. Financially stable families buy houses they desire and can afford, making neighborhoods stable. Children thrive when they live with financially fit families. We nurture and counsel people, so they are able to develop devoted, loving families who know how to communicate with each other.

The YMCA of Florida’s First Coast is a cause-driven organization focused on strengthening the foundations of community by developing the potential of youth, promoting healthy living and encouraging social responsibility. Our service locations include 15 membership facilities, 1 resident camp, 1 charter elementary school, and 2 facilities for the profoundly disabled. The Metropolitan Office is home to all leadership staff, including President and CEO Eric Mann, the Advancement, Asset Management, Membership, Marketing & Communications, Risk Management, Human Resources, Accounting, First Impressions (member information) and Information Technology offices.

Leadership Jacksonville
Leadership Jacksonville educates, connects and inspires diverse leaders to build and strengthen their communities. Programs include: Leadership Jacksonville – selected adults explore areas of community concern and build a network with knowledge and insight to make a difference; Youth Leadership Jacksonville – prepares high school sophomores to take their place as responsible leaders, committed to ethical leadership and community involvement; Next Generation – a summer program for select participants up to age 30 where they network with city leaders and explore difficult community issues; and New Leadership Summit – by invitation-only, the two-day summit introduces the region’s assets, issues, institutions and leaders to CEOs and senior level executives who are new to the community.

Literacy Alliance of Northeast Florida strives to increase literacy awareness and improve adult literacy in Jacksonville through formal instruction and volunteer-based tutoring. Special Olympics Florida provides year-round sports training, competition, and health services to children and adults with intellectual disabilities, at no cost to the athletes or their caregivers, to achieve physical fitness, self-esteem, socialization skills, and the life skills necessary to be productive, respected, and contributing members of their communities. Special Olympics Florida – Healthy Community is a premier, health care delivery approach that focuses on the whole person with an intellectual or developmental disability and provides integrated health care coordination that includes primary health care. Oftentimes, people with special needs have neglected health problems.

Wildlife Conservation Global, Inc.
Wildlife Conservation Global, Inc. operates the Okapi Conservation Project that works to protect the rainforest home of the endangered okapi in the Democratic Republic of Congo. We approach the conservation of an endangered species through a holistic strategy that includes support for the efforts of wildlife rangers that patrol the forest removing illegal activities, support for the surrounding communities to improve their livelihoods, and the development of conservation education programs for women, children, indigenous peoples, government entities and other community members.
